Howdy guys! It’s Mariana.
May has come to an end, and boy it was fast. I can’t believe I’m stepping into summer already. I’m super excited for all of those hours of doing nothing beside binging on books & food. Mhmm… Yes please!
Anywho, back to the wrap up here…
Okay guys, this may sound totally crazy and impossible, but I read the total of 41 books this month. I KNOW! That is a whole level of total absurdness. XD But yes, I did that (or at least according to Goodreads, I did). That sounds absolutely crazy to me too…
I guess you have to give a big portion of credits to those abs-cover books because, oh well, they were so cheap on amazon (most of them are free), so you just can’t judge me. Although whenever I mention about them, I started blushing so hard I think tomatoes started to think I’m their relatives in some ways. Shh… Don’t tell anyone. 😛
In general it was an awesome reading month, but I did have lots of books that were pretty bad. I don’t mind much though, since I guess they balanced out.
One Paris Summer by Denise Grover Swank
A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab
Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine

Sorry guys, I didn’t do a very good job on reviewing this month, especially compare to the amount of books I read. And yes, I blame you finals. 😛
There were a lot of cool things happened to me in this month. Check out…
- I participated in my first bookish challenge called #BookBuddyAthon with my friend Aldii @ perfectioninbooks. We had tons of fun!
- I took some awesome nature pictures on my hiking trip that I shared with y’all on a post called Gorman, why did you Falls? And yes, the title was definitely a pun. 😉
- I did a funny GIF post about our amazeballs Bookish Superpower. ❤
- I had fun sharing some facts about myself through The Get To Know Me Tag.
I’M GOING ON A HUGE TRIP NEXT WEEK! Which is basically going back to Vietnam for the rest of the summer, since I’m an international student. I am very, very, very excited!
Let’s Chat: How was your April in books? What was your favorite read?
Have an amazing June to come!
HOW did you read SO many books. I am speechless, haha. And ohhh, have fun in Vietnam, that’s so cool! 😀

Oh haha thank you 😊 I guess depend on days. Sometimes I just curl up and read for literally all day, so I guess that’s where it made the difference. Also since I’m using BookBub more this month and got a bunch of free deals on amazon, so… *guilty pleasure* 😜
