Hi guys! And happy May Day! ❤
Welcome back to another Monthly Wrap-up post. April, aside from being the test-filled month (😢), it’s also a month with A LOT of good books being published. So super yay for those awesome reads.
- The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson — I decided to reread the Mistborn Trilogy in March, but the last two books end up being pushed to April. It was such a *sniff tears* good read…
- The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson
- Shadow Study by Maria V. Snyder
- Night Study by Maria V. Snyder — AHHH! I need the next book! Like NOW.
- Pucked by Helena Hunting — This is so hilarious and it made me giggled and laughed and squeal. ❤
- Pucked Up by Helena Hunting — I love this 2nd book of Pucked too, though for some reasons, I didn’t like the couple as much.
- Pucked Over by Helena Hunting
- Forever Pucked by Helena Hunting — IloveitIloveitIloveit….
- Jackaby by William Ritter — Big hug for my amazing friend Sara for recommending this series for me. I regret not picking it up earlier.
- Beastly Bones by William Ritter
- The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi — This is the read, people. It was beautiful beyond words.
- Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine — I just can’t wait for the next book. The book was so gripping and I just luuurrrv it!
- The Professional by Kresley Cole — There are so many things about this book that irked me, bad. Maybe I’ll have a rant for it.
- Frigid by J. Lynn
- Trouble by Ann Christopher — The characters are just straight out childish. Big nope.
- Luck Is No Lady by Amy Sandas
- The Undying by Ethan Reid — I had such high expectation for this, but it turned out bad… 😦
- Unchained by J. Lynn — I miss Urban Fantasy so much, and this book happily helped me smooth that.
- Emerge by Tobie Easton — Another book that just didn’t come out right for me.
- On the Edge by Ilona Andrews
- The Bachelor Girl’s Guide to Murder by Rachel McMillan — This was such an adorable read that highlighted my day.
- Tempting the Best Man by J. Lynn — Ooooh, hot hot hot…
- Tempting the Bodyguard by J. Lynn
- Tempting the Player by J. Lynn
- Bayou Moon by Ilona Andrews
- The Rose & the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh — I stayed up until 1am to read this, and lemme tell you, it worths it!
- A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro — Sherlock approved. 😏
- The Strings of Murder by Oscar de Muriel
- Paper Princess by Erin Watt — Thank you Raven for this book’s recommendation. It was a very interesting read. ❤
- Wait for You by J. Lynn — You don’t need to look for your perfect boyfriend model anymore. He’s here in this book.

As always, the list killed me…

Paper & Fire is awesome! I think while Ink & Bone still somewhat resembles Harry Potter, the 2nd book turned the gear and it’s just absolutely unique! ❤️ I hope you will enjoy it when July comes (I know right, it soooo far away TT^TT)

WOW! That’s a lot of books!!! I read Pucked this month too, but I’m not sure if I want to read the second… the protagonists weren’t painted in the best way on that book…

Yeah, I actually skip the 2nd & 3rd books and read the 4th first (it was soooo adorable) then came back and finished the other two. Though I definitely agree they weren’t as good. Still, I hope you enjoy them! 😀

31 BOOKS? That’s really impressive and amazing and just wow ! Can I have your reading abilities haha?
I read 5 books this month HAHA. But I’m okay with that number since I had little to no time to read, but even if I did I wouldn’t be able to pull off one book a day, I’m definitely not a quick reader!

My talent is all yours hahaha 😆
I think taking your time with books is DEFINITELY a good habit. My mom always teases me about my reading, saying that I probably just turn the pages lol 😂 Thanks for the comment though. Hope you have a great month of reading in May! ❤️

I need some of your tips, how do you read so many books in one month?!?!

You consume the book straight, that’s the trick… 🍴📚
Wait, no no, haha. I’m just kidding 😂 I’m really not sure. I just sit down and magically an hour later, the book turned to its last page. Though I think it has something to do with my kindle, since I read slower on printed copy. Maybe because of how big the words are… 😕

I usually read three books at once, one because I can and two because I get easily distracted from the content if I’m reading on my Kindle app. Like I’ll check out Twitter and Instagram so I use different books to be able to keep my attention on reading.

“One because I can…” O Great Sara, teach me your arts (😂) That’s a real nice trick though

I read by quarters! Makes it easy to keep track of each story as individuals while never getting bored haha

That’s a really cool trick. Though that reminds me of this weird pet peeves I have with stop reading on a number that can be divided by 5. It’s just really….odd haha 😂

That is weird…. haha I rather prefer to stop reading in fourths. There are actual divided in four parts you know, they help with my system haha

Wooooaah, awesome wrap-up!! And here I am thinking that 6-ish books read a month is something to be proud about xD I’m glad to see that you had such a great reading month — who knows, at this rate maybe next month you’ll have 62 read! 😀

6 books per month IS GOOD! I think having time to savoring the book is much better ❤️ And thank you for the nice words, though I think my parents wouldn’t be so happy if that happens, it’s their salary after all haha 😂
