Sunday Book Recommendations #3

Sunday Book Recommendations

Sunday Book Recommendations is the weekly meme hosted by Raven @ Dreamy Addictions. This meme focus on recommending you guys some interesting books in which I think are wonderful. It includes recommending a book from three different genres.

{Urban Legend} Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Every other day, Kali D’Angelo is a normal sixteen-year-old girl. She goes to public high school. She argues with her father. She’s human.

And then every day in between . . . she’s something else entirely.”

You want a short (this book is a standalone), enjoyable read with a heroine who knows how to fight and a fabulous plot? Hop in, because this book has it all, including a lot of supernatural creatures and wonderful characters that you will love through the amazing writing of Jennifer Lynn Barnes! me trying to market stuff…. XD

{Paranormal} The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting

Violet has never considered her strange talent to be a gift; it mostly just led her to find the dead birds her cat had tired of playing with. But now that a serial killer has begun terrorizing her small town, and the echoes of the local girls he’s claimed haunt her daily, she realizes she might be the only person who can stop him.

I personally think this is an amazing paranormal series. There are a lot of thriller/crime factors that add up to the story, and how cool is that that you can see imprint of the death!

(For those who avoid scary books, this book is NOT scary at all 😀 )

{Witches} Once a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough

Tamsin Greene comes from a long line of witches, and on the day she was born, her grandmother proclaimed she would be one of the most Talented among them.

But Tamsin’s magic never showed up.

Can we have a moment to appreciate how cool our heroine’s name is? Yeah, I think “Tamsin” is fairly cool. ❤

This is an awesome book about magic and witches, probably one of the best in the genre I’ve read. Highly recommend this!

Feel free to leave comments down below of what books you think should be recommend. And tell me if you want a specific genre next Sunday Book Recommendations.

Have a nice day and a great new week tomorrow!

Love xxoo,

  1. Great Recommendations! Every other day has been in my TBR for a long time but I haven’t gotten around to read it yet. I love kickass female protagonists so I’ll definitely try to check it out soon. I’ve read Once a witch but it was a long time ago and have forgot most of the story but I can pretty much say that I really liked it. 🙂
