Sunday Book Recommendations #2

Sunday Book Recommendations

Sunday Book Recommendations is the weekly meme hosted by Raven @ Dreamy Addictions. This meme focus on recommending you guys some interesting books in which I think are wonderful. It includes recommending a book from three different genres.

{RETELLINGS} Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen

Will Scarlet is good at two things: stealing from the rich and keeping secrets – skills that are in high demand in Robin Hood’s band of thieves, who protect the people of Nottingham from the evil sheriff. Scarlet’s biggest secret of all is one only Robin and his men know…that she is posing as a thief; that the slip of a boy who is fast with sharp knives is really a girl.

Yes, you got it right, this is a Robin Hood retelling. A.C. Gaughen did an amazing job to make this book a masterpiece. There are gripping action scenes, and adorable romance, and Robin Hood. ROBIN freaking HOOD! Everyone loves Robin Hood (including me 😉 ). You can see more in my review.

{SUPERNATURAL} Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor

Once upon a time, an angel and a devil fell in love and dared to imagine a world free of bloodshed and war.

This is not that world.

Well, Days of Blood & Starlight is actually the 2nd book in the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series. This is my favorite book AND cover in the trilogy, so I chose it. 😛

If that cover, or the quote, or all the hype around this series weren’t enough too convince you these books are good, then you DEFINITELY need a copy and spend days with it, quick. It is amazing beyond words!

{MENTAL ILLNESS} Your Voice Is All I Hear by Leah Scheier

I was the one he trusted. I was the one he loved, the only one who believed him, even when his own mother had locked him up and thrown away the key.

And now, I was going to pass down the white tiled hallway, knock on his doctor’s office door, slam his secret notebook on her desk and make her read it, make her understand what he was hiding, make her see what only I had seen.

This book is BEAUTIFUL! So beautiful, I feel like my heart was torn out of my heart in the most vicious way, but then was pampered like the most precious thing. Please treat yourself with this book, you won’t regret it. ❤ You can see more in my review.

So what do you think about this? And if you want me to recommend a certain genre on the next Sunday Book Recommendations, feel free to leave a comment below.

Have a nice day, and a great new week tomorrow! See ya. ❤

Love xxoo,
